powerchick with 20+ years in the (mostly urban) music game. Worked in every level of the business: Club DJ, Radio PD, VP at two different Major Record labels, Independent promotion, and finally- Digital music. When the digital media gig revealed trends and info that the industry was on the verge of getting shook, she bounced from corporate life entirely & started her own company, managing artists and songwriters. Since the entire business kinda went bankrupt soon after, yeah..THAT worked out. Currently pursuing a higher education to forge a new career in Law, she is free to ponder a business that slowly, and with fascinating precision, totally unraveled itself.
